As a young aspie, I am not as connected with the rest of society as I'd want to be. So, I am not that busy or have too many social engagements on a daily basis. I was thinking of trying a craft like acting for fun, and to build self-esteem and people skills, but other than this, I am staring at the computer screen all day long. I no longer need to put up with this, the internet has become too depressing. I need to get out of the house or at least do something away from the computer. I don't even have a proper sleep schedule because the staring at the screen extends into the early mornings too.

I'd like to give a little help...I'm the first replier on this thread by the way..um...let me think... First of all, you need to get out of your house and go somewhere else such as library or so with your to-do-lists in your mind. And once you get there, focus on fulfilling one list at a time. If noises coming from that place bother you, use some ear plugs until you get into your ideal game mode.

And make sure that having to do lists and fulfilling in the library or so should be sort of a RITUAL of your day. Keep in mind that maintaining this good habit must be harder than you imagine. But repeat this thing like a robot anyway until it becomes your own enjoyable ritual. Before reaching this point, I bet you will find yourself in that unwanted place again and again.

I had the exact same problem, and decided to go back to university and study again. However, because I'm studying entirely online, I am still stuck in front of the computer, but at least I have something to do now.

Is there anywhere nearby that you could take some sort of short course or weekly classes?

Get a high energy dog. You will be forced to walk the dog and go do things you ordinarily wouldn't. And you'll find yourself enjoying things you never thought you would. The more time you spend on the dog the better his or her temperament will be.
