Apparently, these individuals (who I strongly suspect are NT) are not familiar with the second law of classical mechanics - that an object that is in motion will remain in motion unless a force is used to stop it. Hilarity ensues.

Also, they are supposed to be on Leno tonight with this video. I sincerly hope that they use some of Leno's money for an introductory physics class at their local community college.

Wow. I wish I could be bright enough to do things stupid enough to get money for it.

Ack. I watched this video three times, and while I agree it was a stupid idea, I can't figure out what hit the car. What was it?

I couldn't tell either. It looked like a water balloon, but it had to be a lot tougher to not break.

hahaha....that made me laugh and I've had a really rough* day! Thermodynamics is laughing at NTs too. Unless, of course, heaven forbid, a given NT could have been hit hard on the head. I assume no NTs were harmed in the making of this video.

I don't get what they did. What DID they do? What did they launch off the ramp? Why is this particular video Leno-worthy? I understand why what happened happened, but I want to know everything else about what they did.

They threw a bowling ball at the ramp while in the car.

Oh. Yeah, that would definitely be a bad idea. Now that video is hilarious!

What hit the car was the bowling ball that was launched off the ramp. It kept going forward at the same speed as the car while going up in the air and then down again. That's what makes it so funny.

Ah, now I get it. I thought it was a basketball, but I wasn't sure. A bowlingball? 8O I agree, calandale: What were they trying to do?
But it is really funny. :D
