Are you ever just walking down the street, and all of a sudden realize that you would really like to watch a specific movie, or hear a specific album, or read a specific book?

All the time. I think something triggers it- a sound or a smell, or it's been percolating in my subconscious for a while. A couple of weeks ago I absolutely HAD to have some Kraft Dinner- and I absolutely hate the stuff! It makes me feel ill; the cheese seems to do something to my palate.

All the time! I've even stopped by the bookstore just to read a certain passage from a favorite book that popped into my mind, even though I have it at home. But it stinks when their book happens to be a different English-language edition, and the translation is a little off from my book at home that I'm used to. One word change can mess up the whole emotional experience for me! Ha, I'm even more obsessive than I thought. :)

I do this very often, although not neccessarily on the street, but rather almost anywhere. These desires won't go away for several days.

I do that all the time! And then once I get around to it, I'm like, "I don't feel like seeing this now"!

I mainly get it with music.

I'll be at work and suddenly want to listen to a certain song if someone says something that reminds me of a lyric and if I don't have it there I can't concentrate for the rest of the day.

Now I cram as much of my music collection as I can into a cd wallet just in case, lol.
