These were done in a derelict lunatic asylum in the uk, dating back to 1894. I did once have many, but my fear got the better of me and I threw all but this one away. Finally managed to get the segments isolated from a 75 min recording.

These will interest anyone who has interest/curiosity in the paranormal.

You need relatively good hearing, and good speakers...full volume preferably and an equaliser is even better.

Some might hear nothing, others might hear what I and others have heard. It is there as many have heard it.

Interesting really...
I've had my obsession with the paranormal, and it still facinates me. Rather then arouse fear, however, it makes me want to actually hear it for real. :D

I heard a lot of stuff in that, some of it sounded similar to voices, but it registers more as distorted ambient noise.

No rain, cars...middle of the countryside on a small island. I am surprised no one else has picked up on what is there, the 2nd poster did. I guess people are not attuned to listening through the white noise.

What is actually on there is a female voice shrieking on evp1 and on evp2, the same along with shouting. It is very clear to me and to many others who have had access to the recording, including sceptics.

I heard voices in the recording. Very creepy indeed. I bet the environment you were in kinda scared you. It would scare me because I'm a wimp.

It was not a nice place, but then you wouldn't expect a warm and fuzzy atmosphere in a mental hospital that dates back to a time when they still chained patients together and performed lobotomies on a regulat basis, lol. I did not go back for almost a year following that recording actually.

Thanks for sharing this...it was interesting.

I heard a woman's screams...but there seemed to be alot of different voices in the background also...almost like others were shouting at her or upset that something was happening and yelling....??

Quoted for truth. Reminds me of the video "White Noise", nightmares and all.

Yes, others have heard that, though usually when it was played on good speakers with white noise cut out. The building this was done in had been unused for over a decade and lay empty...not even any beds left in there. My ex had his recording device downstairs and the sounds picked up on his also, albeit quieter. Of note, I suppose, is that just before we set off this particular recording (Both are from the same night), we had nailed the windows shut as we didn't want anything to rattle. Those who believe in the paranormal suggest that changing the environment is a recipe for activity. I have a lot of photos of this place, both inside and out, plus a history. It was an obsessive interest for about a year.

The "throb" sounds male to me.

It gave me chills up and down my arms listening to it. I heard allot different voices and banging going on.

Yeah, I wish I had not thrown out the others I did, especially the last recording. I got as far as listening to maybe 15 minutes and then turned it off and disposed of it due to it's contents. One of my bigger regrets.

Would you mind sharing the photos? This place sounds extraordinarily interesting.
