Would being in New Zealand(which itself is a seperate nation) techinically qualify as being Australian as well?
I would gather from it's proximity to greater Austrailia, is considered part of the continent, opposed to being part of "Oceania."
And so this New Jersyian parts ways.
Tsk tsk tsk RadiationHazard!
lol.
If you tried to suggest that Australia and New Zealand were part of the same continent to anyone of either nationality that you might meet while travelling, they would most likely slap you.
Our two countries have a love/hate relationship.
Kinda like Ireland and Scotland or America and Canada. (although from what I've seen with America and Canada it tends to me more just hate/hate, hahaha.)
