Hello, I am feeling so anxious this morning! I think I know why, but I am not quite sure! I just did not get enough sleep last night and I had an 8:00a.m. college class this morning. I was able to get through it fine and everything, but I still feel very anxious! I usually just try and visit forums like these sometimes or call my parents and talk to them! Does any body else cope with this this way? I know that some people may like to cope with anxiety this way, but I don't know for sure! I am a sophomore in a private college right now and I often feel really anxious about a lot of different things, but I don't always know what to make of them! For example: This past week I had my Concert Choir teacher yell at me and the whole class about a piece of music! Most types of Anxiety that are my fault, I can handle. Anxiety is only tough to handle when it is not my fault. Even those small things make me feel anxious.

Any advice??? :?

People who know me call me chicken licken because I am anxious all the time. Funnily enough 2 Jehovas witnesses just came round and dropped off the Watchtower. It is all about how to deal with anxiety. July 1 issue.
They said that the world will end soon so all the worry will be gone I suppose.

Posting on forums helped my anxiety before I got on medication. Talking to my parents never helped thou cuz they never understood me & we had lots of arguments & fights which caused me to have lots of meltdowns. Talking to my girlfriend helps me nowadays when my medication isn't enough.

I began seeing a therapist in September for my anxiety issues and it has been helping a lot.

@ OP: Try a breathing exercise whenever you feel anxious.
Close your eyes, breathe in and out while counting to 8.
