Yes... I find it easier to like/love fictional people than real people... probably because like real people, most of them have personalities but unlike real people, you can just like/love them without all the trouble that follows these sort of feelings.

I once (when I was about 7-9) had a crush on Penny from the "Inspector Gadget" cartoons (I'm still not sure why, though).
