Apparently the Secret is Out!
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has been closely guarding its secret in making their famous finger-licking-good chicken. Well someone found a handwritten copy of the recipe and made it known. The original 11 herbs and spices are:

Only one more mystery remains. What is the measurement "Ts" mean?
Tablespoon is normally abbreviated as tbsp or Tb or T.
Teaspoon is normally abbreviated as tsp or t.
So what does Ts mean? My guess is Tablespoon but that is only a guess. It might be teaspoon where someone doesn't know the convention of using a smaller "t" for teaspoon. Perhaps the abbreviation might be in some hidden language like Martian! In which case Colonel Sanders has retained his secret recipe because it is written in code. Well looking at the 11 spices, they are all written in the same metrics so an individual could substitute any unit of volume in its place. Not very secret! But then there is the relationship of the metric with the base 2 cups white flour.
It is really hard to figure out all the mysteries of life before you die!

This brings up another interesting mystery. Why is there an emoji in place of the 8. I entered an 8 and the site changed it to an emoji. Maybe it is a combination of the 8 and the ). Let us test that theory. Let's see!

A very unique plan. As Dr. Paul Thompson wrote, "This is the very best paper on the virus I have ever seen."
And the other way to make the Kentucky Fried Chicken famous--what might have worked even better than these amazing spices--was the trick of using a pressure-cooker on it to tenderize the chicken and avoid that dry, tough, stringy bird so many other people were fixing.
Oh well, anybody want to hone their cooking skills and do some KFC at home?
Thanks for sharing, Jimmy M. That was a great find and I'm glad to see it up.
