The loud noise of drills is painful to my ears.

I used to be when I was little but my dad's a carpenter & sometimes needed my help around the house with projects so I learned to tolerate em & other powertool noise.

I don't know if you mean drills as in the tool or fire alarm drills. I really hate fire alarms, the noise they create is definitely painful. The noise from the tool can at least be avoided by wearing ear plugs and ear protectors over top. I really get annoyed by circular saws that my neighbours use in their backyard here in the summer.

I can't stand the noise of grinders. I have had to use them myself but mostly on fibreglass. When they are used on metal they are really loud and horrible.

Anything like that bothers me badly. Up close it's very painful and I have to plug my ears. Off in the distance it aggravates me badly and causes me to stress out.

All kinds of drills make me want to scream when I hear them.

Just like all other loud noises, drills are very unpleasant to my ears.

Annoyed doesn't even begin to cover it. When I was little, they (and other power tools, or vacuum cleaners, or the spin cycle on the washing machine, or low flying planes....etc. etc.) would make me collapse on the spot and scream my lungs out. Even today they make me fall over quite frequently, and I feel physically ill for some time afterwards. It just....hurts.

It only annoys me if it wakes me up/prevent me from sleeping (my sleep schedules are all over the place), or if it happens when I'm listening to something and prevents me from hearing what is said.
