Trying to wrap my head around Celestia

There's a program that you can download called Celestia, that enables you to travel vast distances in a 3-D Universe, and I'm trying to create and place a fictional star and it's solar system in it, but I'm having trouble doing it. Can anybody help me?

I had a quick try of Celestia, and I saw no option to create new stars. :(

I fiddled with it a couple years back. Don't recall an option for adding a new star. I'm much more familiar with Orbiter.

Never mind, Anubis helped me with it. You needed to know a bit about how to program in a custom star using Notepad and the addons folder. Now, how to add planets...

I used celestia when i was into planets and aliens and stars and stuff like that...
