I love Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle best.

People like Nausicaa! BTW there is a manga version that has about 5x more storyline than the movie, https://archive.org/details/NausicaaOfT ... ndComplete

Too many choices . . . can't choose . . . brain melting! :)

I like to many to choose a favorite.

^Yes, that is the problem with a poll... What about favourite characters from a specific movie?

Having seen less than half this list I'll not pass judgement yet :)

Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Howl's Moving Castle.

I can't choose, they're all good. I like the fantasy ones most, though =)

^Me too! I was slightly disappointed that Whispers of the Heart didn't have any fantasy in it, which is why I like The Cat Returns better.

My Neighbour Totoro was the first Studio Ghibli film I ever watched, and every time I see it I feel like a little kid again (same feeling I get with a Pixar film), so I'm a little partial to that.
Spirited Away was really gripping as well, and I also enjoyed Ponyo. So I picked those three.
I haven't actually watched Kiki's Delivery Service yet, but seeing as it's a pretty popular choice on here I think I want to!

But I'm surprised you left Grave of the Fireflies out. Very good story, but...so upsetting. ╥﹏╥

^I left Grave of the Fireflies out precisely because it's so heartbreaking! :(

I agree, it was really sad. Even though I knew what was going to happen, most of the film was waiting to see how it all went wrong.

Spirited Away...but I have not seen 7 of the 14 on the list. Also, one of my favorites, When Marnie Was There, isn't on the list. It was produced by Studio Ghibli and both written and directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi. It's a fantastic magical story.
