I have an older brother, so I know because of him that annoying people is an art form.

I think he was a hipster before being a hipster was cool, and before being cool was cool, so everything that I liked was not cool, and he almost annoyed me to death because of it. Those were good times.

Not that I never annoyed him by doing some of the things on the list. He couldn't stand it when I made any sound while chewing my food or walked too slowly.

My mom sings along to jingles on the radio a lot. I used to find that annoying but I never really told her.

I don't usually walk around in circles while talking on my cell phone but I do tend to get in people's way. I wasn't trying to annoy them on purpose, though.

Clicking pens is annoying to me; I have been known to wander round in circles while talking on the phone - not that this happens often because just talking on the phone annoys me..

I think I may have done all of those at some time

To paraphrase the famous Dean Martin song - "everybody annoys somebody sometime.."

When I was a teenager the sound of other kids on the school bus cracking their gum was just one of the things that really, really annoyed me. Total chaos all around me until I got off.

The only thing worse than cracking gum is cracking your knuckles, which makes my skin crawl. I once had to ask a guy to please stop doing it. He thought it was strange and claimed he never heard of anyone hating the sound before. Are you kidding me? Lots of people can't stand it, it ranks up there with squeaky chalk.

Same for me regarding your second paragraph. That sound of cracking joints makes my stomach turn over.

I could resist the urge to crack mine after reading that post.

There are lots of ways to be annoying on YouTube. If someone posts "Illuminati confirmed" one more time, my brains will explode.

I guess posting more than once in a row is annoying, huh?

I've been thinking that from now on whenever someone asks me "how are you?", instead of "fine" or "good", I will answer "Comme ci, comme ca", which is French and sort of translates to "so-so". I think it will annoy many people who don't speak French, even if they know what it means because they were taught in school like I was. I will not do it in the really hammy way my teacher did back then, however. That was REALLY annoying. Eh bien.

Oh, and I just thought of something else that's annoying. Saying lol instead of just laughing when you're not online.
