No animals were harmed in the manufacturing of animal crackers. The ones with frosting and sprinkles on them are particularly delicious. However, it is a matter of individual conscious for vegetarians to make up the decision as to whether or not they want to consume animal crackers.

Animal crackers aren't actually made from animals, so vegetarians should be alright eating them.

And cage-free.

Vegetarians should be safe. If there are any milk or egg products in them, vegans, not so much.

<--- Jain.

Jain is a religion whose main tenet is non-violence (ahimsa). Believe it or not, eating animal crackers or chocolate bunnies are indicative of violence and, therefore, frowned upon.

This reminds me of the weird, random letters the characters in the Animal Crossing games would sometimes show me. One of them was a protest against animal crackers being locked inside of tiny cages and then cruelly eaten. It was signed Animals for Crackers.

I think it's meant to be a joke, like extreme vegetarians being so against animal cruelty that even if it looks an animal but contains no animal products it should not be eaten, and they annoy or depress you because you can't eat anything around them unless it's rabbit food. I don't go around telling not them to be vegetarian or vegan so they shouldn't be going telling me it's murder to eat animal products.

I've seen cheap candy that is pure junk and chemicals and high-fructose corn syrup, and it bears the label "suitable for vegans". I guess they really care more about the animals than what they put in their own bodies.

Um, that's a joke right?

I get really annoyed how people think not eating dead animals, or animal bodily fluids is stupid. And just because there is a lot of crap food that's vegan there is also a crapload more non-vegan junk food too... People just like to put down, or attack things that could cause them to question the rightness of something they do regularly.

My friend is a vegetarian.
She said she can't eat anything with eyes.
I said, "So you can't eat potatoes, then?"

Animal crackers are made of soy products. So I don't see why not.

There are also people crackers for dogs. (Real thing)
