Favorite Hideaway Place

Where did you go to get away from it all? Is it your bed? A special room in your house/apartment? A favorite store? Park?

I have a favorite hideaway place. My backyard. When it's warm outside I go out there with my walkman and my ball. I listen to my music, bounce my ball and walk all around the yard. I also like to lay on my bed and occasionally I can consider my computer a hide away. Anything to take my mind off of things, especially things that make me stressful, anxious and upset.

What place/location do you use as a hide away place?

I like the far corner of my closet. I don't stay there that often, but once in awhile I do. It's peaceful there.

when I am at school there is a library, the basement is quiet, no people, has computers

My bedroom is an attic conversion, so it is really quiet up there. Have my ipod set up and my mini library absolute heaven. When I was younger it used to be a bathroom or a wardrobe I still like the wardrobe sometimes as it is dark and confined.

My room upstairs, in the company of my cats.

Once upon a time, I liked to hide under my desk - just enough space to curl up in a little ball. However, a spider appeared there once, so I don't use it any more.
Now I just find a grassy spot outside and collapse in a heap - not lie down carefully, just suddenly go limp, and lie in whatever position I fall into.

The creek.

I am not telling...someone might try to infringe upon my implied ownership of said spot.

Every time I find a place like that something happens and it gets taken away.
