If you could marry one anime character, who would it be? I pick Kozue Nanao from Maison Ikkoku. She is so sweet and so adorable!

The Princess in "Voltron"

Or the weather girl in "Sunny Pig / Tokyo Pig"

Misato from Evangelion or Motoko from GITS.

Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga, from Azumanga Daioh.

Motoko is quite sexy, and while I like useful women that can take care of themselves, I think that having a wife that runs around kiilling bad guys and hacking computers all day - although it sounds cool and we'd have shared interests - might be a bit of a fuss after a while.
Also, I hear that lately, she's been spending waaay too much time being on the net.

Maybe Alpha-san from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.
She is an android, but very lovely.

I find it interesting so many people on WP go on and on about getting married. I am not sure about other countries but in the States many people do not get married, nor are the keen on GETTING married.

I must be one of the few people here who don't like anime? I don't know why but they give me the creeps. Maybe because they are so 'cutesy'.

I'd marry them if I was a cartoon too. There, maybe its more acceptable now.

Then how about Elven Lied, a story about a a girl with telekinesis abilities and multiple personalities, one having a strong hatred for other people, the other one being a cute, innocent girl?
That should creep the hell out of you.

Hmm, maybe that's a series that most aspies can associate with and enjoy, when I think about it?

Thanks for posting those ion, I prefer the evil ones, they don't seem quite as creepy as the cute ones, to me, anyway.

Rrr... Elfen Lied was okay, could have been done a lot better but it did alright at getting the point across. And yeah things in it reminded me a lot of myself when I was younger.

I'm not sure who I'd pick.... the characters I like best are invariably the tragic ones. Maybe Souseiseki from Rozen Maiden, or Kirika from Noir.



Also, absurdity is fun, you should give it a try.

the only one i would consider would be an androgynous jazz musician from a 'Cowboy Bebop' episode. The name escapes me. Its funny, though. My husband kind of looks like an anime character. He has those really big eyes and long lashes. grrrrr.

I'd pick Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. She thinks of others before herself, so she'd gladly put up with all my quirks.

I'd marry L from Death Note. He's so cool, and really quirky and intelligent, so he'd be perfect! (plus he's completely addicted to sweets, which is always fun )
