Are reptiles better pets?

Are reptiles (lizards, snakes, turtles, crocodilians, tuatara) better than mammals as pets?

I would love to have a lizard, or a snake actually but I really wish I could have a lizard. I will always say cats are the best though.

Get a cat-like lizard (an Iguana).

I had a red tail boa years ago, but it had a habit of wanting to hug a bit to much.

That would be good, I don't think my mum would want me to get a lizardy thing... When I've tidied my room I might get one. Would it affect Flo? She wouldn't notice it really would she?

I think they're better than sheeple.

I dont think their better pets, I have a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko and I absolutely love them, but I also love my cats the same. I love my dragon maybe alittle more because hes got weird skin, and reminds me of a dinosaur so I love holding him and watching him, but other then that I love all pets the same.

No reptiles, thanks ! I own two parrots and I'll get a cat soon. Cats are number one for me, even if my dream as a kid (and still now) is to own a husky

Well, your cat might try to attack it, but one good whack from an iguanas tail would cure that. Iguanas are (personality wise) not unlike a cats. Independant, curious, love to climb, etc. Another lizard to consider is a frilled dragon.

I have had dogs, cats (for a very short time ), chickens roosters and hens, australian parrots, turtles, frogs, a salamander, an iguana, and basilisks.

Now, I have two basilisks, I think I have had the most beautiful experiences with reptiles , and the second place is for the birds.

I want a crocodile!

Bearded dragons have a great personality also, I have a 5month old kitten and an 8 yr old cat, and they dont seem to be bothered by him at all, in fact when I go outside he chills right next to me. I wanted a iguana or a comodo dragon, but 6 ft long lizard would bother my cats, their would defintely be a fight. Bearded dragons only get two feet long so their not big, and not too small.

I think I will get some kind of reptile one day.
There are some reptiles in Manchester Museum. They're really good. There are two little orange frogs there as well which I like.

My iguana was the only living creature who was able to kiss me, and I hugged it

I prefer fish, but I used to keep lizards, and they were some of the best pets I've had.

I think Bus Pets are the best.

I know of something better an a pet bus. . .a pet rock.
