Are you happy with where you live (city/town)?

Not at all. Oregon City sucks. There's nothing to do and the people are pissy.

It's alright. We have some museums. I'd rather be somewhere quieter though, and somewhere where it was cold/grey/rainy all year round.

My town isn't that bad. The cops suck, but I don't have a problem with them because I made friends with a few. Plus I'm an hour out of Chicago, so there is always stuff to do.

Pride of the Valley, so it is. And beneath the sky, no town can vie with it.

Could be better, could be worse. Cheap though.

Mostly, I love it here because I am so near the water and the boats, and only have a 23 minute journey by boat if I want to go to the Isle Of Wight, which is a favourite place of mine. Also, there is a lot of history here and museums, including a maritime museum and an archeology museum...there is a lot of archeology here...plus the library has a Titanic collection since she set off from here. I don't like it when it is Friday or Saturday night, but I have not had too many problems here. Of course, if I had someone in my life, I would probably choose to live in Cornwall or Sussex in a village by the sea.

Langley is the best damn town in Canada. It's a cross between a town and a city.

Houston is ok, except that I would like to do more outdoor activities, and the climate here doesn't make such activities pleasant (it's either too hot and humid, or it's pouring down rain--and that's not even counting the occasional hurricane).

If I stay in Texas, I would move to Austin or San Antonio. If I move out of state, I would consider the two cities on the Pacific coast where I could find geology jobs (Seattle, WA or Honolulu, HI).

No, not really.
I want too move a bit more north where the rest of my family lives, more thing`s happends there.
It`s really boring where i live now, nothing too do except school and sitting on the computer.

It is fairly small,quiet,inexpensive,and familiar;I have many favorite natural places to escape to;we had four distinct seasons(until climate changes made things wonky).I still absolutely love autumn here,as well as spring;it is within two-three hours of three large cities and airports,and we are connected to an interstate highway(for quick escape).

But my entire family live very far away;this is a struggling rust-belt,middle-American town,with all of the economic and social challenges that go with that kind of cultural isolation and relative poverty;it is very humid from June through September(a sticky,clammy,mold allergy kind of humid),and I get SAD from January through March(gray,slushy,icy winters..not much snow).

"love/hate",I guess.

Of all the places I've lived, Edmonton (where I live now) is the one I like best. If I was to win a great big huge lottery prize, I'd stay here... and buy a penthouse apartment overlooking the river valley.
