Yes, after consuming vast quantities of chamomile tea, I have finally come to a decision on what I want to have as my ultimate life goal.

I want every working part of my body--brain and all--replaced with a non-organic implant by the time I'm 120, all just for the lulz. Anyone wanna join me? We'll start a cult or something and insist upon saying everything in robotic voices. It'll be fun! Then we'll save up some money and have ourselves converted into starships. We'll pass the time by taunting developing species and spraying their moons with graffiti.

So, you in?

My signature says "less organic, more mechanic" you're asking if anyone wants to replace their organics? SERIOUSLY?

Absolutely. I'm in.

I am not mechanically inclined and dont trust mechanics anymore then I do DRs.....so thats out for me.

I never really liked having this piece of meat to drag me around from place to place but I dont think I am ready to get rid of all my senses, just yet...I love the smell of Vicks and the taste of eucalyptus cough drops and the feel of kitty and puppy fur against my face and hands....maybe if I could be a Kola with the hands of a human so I could pet my own fur?

Great! I have followers! Okay, mission number one, soon as we're spaceborne, is to find some developing culture, preferably one on the level we were seventy-five years ago, right? What we're going to do is project reruns of Southpark on their moon. We'll leave it on loop, so they'll be forced to go up into space themselves to get it turned off. We'll return in about a century to see whether they've figured it out or started worshipping it.

Humans are not much, smaller than an Ipod with wings, I could go solid state. With backup copies.

We will need something with senses, furry with great fur and a tail, four hands and big eyes, Krex the ship Mascot and greeter of new species.

I am free next week.

Dude, I've never seen so many furries in a non-furry-oriented place in my entire life. The theory that 90% of furs are aspie, autie, or schizotypal grows stronger with every passing day. Hey, there's got to be some explanation for those who never talk except through a computer keyboard, right? Hehehe.

I personally can't stand furries, I'm quite picky with my species interfacing.
I would much prefer the human/mechanical or animal/mechanical compounds. The idea of merging with my cat is frightening, even if it is named RAM its quite stupid.

I hate this meat tower. It functions poorly, is ugly, hurts (malfunction alerts), and smells bad.

I am in! Electroclones to do dangerous adventures. Direct IR or RF data transmissions between us. Quantum computation. Built in databases and such. Yeah and mini too. . .

. . .specialized "bodies" for specific environments and functions. I will take one that can sail space FTL!

Yippie! Yif!

I came across a program that does this. Not shocking I know, a free one thats pretty good. I'd love to design something that does this, a piece you put inside your mouth or something of the like but I don't have the means or enough knowledge in this area to even begin to build on this idea.

The cat has fur and a tail, though, therefore it is more sensible. You cannot deny my logic. Besides, you'd be surprised: shared hallucination is an incredibly enjoyable way of passing the time, and it's hard not to have a good time when it's considered perfectly socially acceptable to consider your friends meal options. Oh, and never get into an argument with a were because you will always lose, no matter what the subject is, and you are also well-advised to have the same opinions and deeply held beliefs as someone who leaves a footprint the size of your neighborhood. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Hang around furries for about a month, and read it again. Toodles.
