I'm more of a cat person, but dogs are better than humans, yes. :)

I feel a love, joy, safety, and comfort with dogs that I've only ever felt with my mother. Just seeing my dogs can brighten my whole day, whereas the thought of seeing most people makes me want to go back to bed. (That being said, I work in a dog day care center, and some dogs are absolute tools, so I guess they're not completely unlike people in that respect.)

What breed? Some tiny dogs are only good for barking non stop.

im not so sure... most dog/human relationships i see just are too funny in a cynical way - dogs just love the next bigger/better alpha-role. humans do just the same. there are so many dog owners who love their dogs simply because they are the alpha at least for them...
no generalization meant, just a recurring observation that strikes me as funny.

i like cats more...

Most definitely. If I were told that I had the choice between saving a dog or saving 100000 people I would save the dog. 8)

Reminds me of that South Park episode when Stan's dog is gay.

There were those gay penguins at the zoo as well. Was that in Poland?
