I was thinking this is a little more social out of my comfort zone on are cruise coming up in December. It's not crazy loud like a DJ dance floor or some wild show. I would like to stay late for the midnight snacks but I can work that around snacks I want (go to the piano bar or don't) I'd like to try it out maybe.

A lot of life articles discuss getting out of your comfort zone and I'm assuming piano playing is a lot quieter than DJ's dancing shows or loud music correct????

Once actually, yes. It was actually a restaurant with a live pianist. As far as places that have music go, yes it was relatively subtle and laid back in terms of volume and distraction-factor. I didn't mind it too much. I don't like places with loud music although I've been to them. The piano bar situation was more tolerable than those, certainly, to me anyway.

They tend to just play laid back, easy listening classics and things that sound like the proverbial "tickling the ivories" in a calm casual way, nothing too uptempo or raucous.

This same restaurant was also the night I got the worst food poisoning of my life, hahah! Which is why I recall it so well.

I'm hoping the cruise has good food lol! Seems like a laid back fun calm time for an Aspie especially since I don't like the gambling away your money or DJ dancing loudness or loud stage shows. It's a 4 day cruise may stay up late and do the piano bar a few nights. Thanks!

I hope you have a lovely time, zeldapsychology, and that the piano bar is nice. (And the food!)
