Do you like WP

I'm torn; leaning towards 'no' at the moment.

You do know you have duplicate topics.

Na…I’ve found that I’m not comfortable with people no matter the medium; which has nothing to do with said people rather everything to do with who I am -- whether it's the disorder or not.

I'm still here though....

Right now, I would have to say... no.

I like it but it is addictive and taking me away from work too much

It's been less than a week since I found WP and I was instantly hooked on it, but the more I read on, the less I like. Half the population seems to be nerdy outcast kids who think they have AS because they're picked on in school, and just talk about anime and pokemon all day...although there are many, many people I've seen on here who I can deeply relate to. I feel like a huge outcast here because I am not a fan of fiction, and so many others go online just to escape from reality


This might be my last post on WP since I'll probably be flamed to death by the underpants gnomes after this one.

I love WP!

Sure, I could pick. . .we do have the periodic trollwe do have flame wars, WP is not perfect.

Sure some here are perhaps not on the spectrum (poor dx: self or formal).

But, I am happy taking persons at face value. I find that most here (geeky kids or dinos such as myself) do have much in common. Most are nice.

And I find WP fellowship a great assist in my making the journey through another day.

Why do you need to ask, when you know the answer's gonna be Yes from me?

Anyone that posts here but doesn't like it has something wrong with them.. why do it?

I'll assume that was directed toward me...because I didn't realize that aspies were seperated from reality. I'm obsessed with learning about people, places, events, etc. Not anime and warcraft. I think reading fiction is stupid. Creative writing is fun, but just to try to make the teacher laugh. I'm not trying to escape from the real world, I'm trying to learn more about it.

I'm just trying to find the answers to why I interpret things so much differently than everyone else...I feel like I have the symptoms, but not the same behavior and interests. I got a 160-whatever on that aspie-quiz, which is just evidence that it's BS.

I don't belong here near as much as I thought. The whole aspie thing is just another "obsession" I'm going through I suppose.

You have to confront that which you fear, otherwise said fear will hold you forever. There's more to mastering fear than running and fighting.

If I disliked WP I wouldn't be here...

And it'll probably be brought up again sometime in the near future.
