Do astronauts watch satellite TV in space?

They ain't gonna watch Sky tv are they, it's a bit derelict for them to downsize to watching that limited crud.

I did come across an alternative speech the other night that was prepared in the event that Buzz and Neil couldn't return to earth, was a really beautiful speech actually and would've been a very appropriate epitaph for the pair if they had to starve up there on the forlorn rock.

Years ago I ran across a big book in a book store devoted to speeches like that: speeches they had written "in case" that were never delivered. Things like a speech General Eisenhower would have given if the D-Day landing had failed, and other stuff like that down through history. That moon landing speech is probably in it.

But astronauts probably don't watch cable.

It's kinda hard to hook up a phone line cable to a space ship moving 18 thousand mph.

I can almost hear the astronauts' mothers telling them, "We didn't travel all this way from Earth just to stay inside and watch the idiot box!" :lol:
