What sport-sandals do you wear?

BY "sport"-sandals, I mean sandals that have a heel-strap, stay on well, and would be suitable to run in.

I wear brand Columbia, model Siskiyou. They work great for the sports I do. The only problem is that the footbeds on them are leather (suede, specifically), which absorbs skin oils, which in turn makes them stink and occasionally feel slimy (after having owned them for a couple years, now). If they made this model with synthetic footbeds that could be cleaned by merely hosing them off, I'd be all set to get a pair. They feel sturdy and secure.

Matter of fact, I vow to spend this summer going completely barefooted every chance I can get.

Hurts the top of my foot and that Achiles tendon...cant do sandels.Bummer,as I hate the claustraphobia of shoes and have tender soles from lack of barefootedness(live in a city full of glass and rusty bits.)

Yeah? I spent this past winter with nothing on my feet other than the sandals. It was the only way to clear up a big toenail that was completely infected with fungus. I haven't worn socks or enclosed shoes since March of 2006.

I have an incredible aversion to feet. I can't stand people wearing sandals and going barefoot. Feet disgust the hell out of me.

I think feet are disgusting when people keep them in shoes all the time (which was exactly how my toenail got infected in the first place - wearing shoes all the time). The American soldiers in the Vietnam war often got infected feet because of the boots that the army made them wear, while the Vietcong soldiers (the people the US were fighting against) were successful in their sandals.

Teva Terra-Fi, since I don'r run they are suitable for me. If i did run however, I would have probably got the old Wraptor. I believe they have whole new ranges out at the moment, and I just haven't had time to obsess over gear recently

I need the heel strap on my sandals, otherwise I can't wear them due to my feet (I'm pigeon-toed). If I don't have them, my feet will slip out no matter what I do, and I can get really bad blisters because of that.

Anyway, I don't really own any sport sandals, but I can run in the ones I do have easily.
