I've read on the internet that Sears might sell off its brands Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard.

I'm not surprised. Sears has been having problems & they closed the one near where my parents live.

That's what happens when you have a CEO that was formerly a hedge fund manager, whose ideas on management nearly destroyed the company. There was an article in either The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Crain's Chicago Business or The Chicago Tribune about all the mismanagement a Sears/KMart.
