What's your favorite odd snack, or food combination?

For the longest time, my favorite snack was pepperoncini (pickled salad peppers)...with milk.

Any other weird or unusual combinations, or just strange snacks that are actually oh, so yummy?

...not a snack, necessarily, but I love the combination of dark chocolate and very bitter beer, ie 85% cacao with a hoppy IPA or the like. Mmm...Exquisiteness.

Oh, I love pepperoncini peppers!

Odd snack... I have this popcorn seasoning that's parmesan and garlic flavored, and I like to sprinkle it on pickles when I eat them.

Milk is necessary for me to eat banana, sweet potato, any kind of cookie/biscuit/bread/cake/pizza.
Without milk I don't eat them.

Nothing weird about this one. I had a Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi with dinner

(fish & chips WITHOUT the vinegar)

As far as my own culinary strangeness is concerned, I'm going with my habit of eating entire cloves of garlic raw :3 I can't help it, they're delicious. (also healthy)

^that is definitely a healthy snack! I would think you rarely, if ever, get sick. I like preparing dishes that call for fresh garlic, as it makes my house smell amazing and it permeates into your fingertips and lingers for hours/days on end.

i like to eat unsweetened baker's chocolate, the kind without any sugar. everyone else thinks it's disgusting but i find it delicious.

Baking chocolate usually has pretty substantial caffeine content.

@Britte: Sort of, I think I get the most from drinking good tea.

I utilize tea for various medicinal purposes, as well (assuming that is what you mean : )
I would love to know what types of tea you drink, although, perhaps it would be considered derailing the thread.

Good quality cocoa is delicious ! I love milk with unsweetened cocoa. Much less bitter than coffee IMO. And cocoa beans. So crunchy.
Another weird combination, but I hate this French tradition : cheese (usually camembert) spread on baguette bread, and soaked in a cup of coffee for breakfast. I always noticed my parents doing that. I don't think that combining stinky cheese with coffee must exist outside of France :lol:
