Seriously. I like things to be simple, straightforward, and all in one place. Unfortunately, GQ, et al. aren't like that.

Here's a simple guide to follow. Only one step!

1) Wear what makes you happy

here you go, and i definitely agree with the answer above - if it makes you happy, brightens your day to look at it, by all means wear it. and only wear things you're comfortable in. don't worry about fashion so much as style. make your own style.

Dimebag certainly deserves respect for his talent, but I'm not much of a Pantera fan.

<ends derailment of thread here>

I've seen a few. They are pretty funny. Like I said, though, I don't have anything against Dimebag. To my mind, he was Pantera's only redeeming member.

RIP Dimebag :(

I know a few tips for men, and there are some valuable tips listed here

Own at least four suits, black, navy, gray, and an earth tone (brown and/or tan).

Always wear a black belt and black shoes with a suit that is navy, black, or gray.

Always wear a brown belt and brown or burgundy shoes with an earth tone suit.

Own a few blazers and a few pairs of slacks you can change around.

Vary the colors of your shirts and the patterns of your ties.

Ironically, I am rather fashion challenged when it comes to normal clothes.

The rules for formal stuff are easy. I have all that and do all that, except for the tan suit. I am not bold enough to even attempt it after watching Napoleon Dynamite. lol

Unfortunately, most men's fashion guides focus on how to pick out suits. I wear business casual at work; I rarely wear a suit, and in many cities not named NYC, this is common.

It's the rules for casual stuff that are complicated and confusing.

Those "click here" buttons were WONDERFUL but limited. It it could be more comprehensive, I'd say it is sticky worthy given how many aspies and NLDers struggle with this sort of thing.

Fashion and style are two different things. Fashion is following rules. Style is creativity.

Jeans and t-shirts, you can't trust an aspie to dress up and not look daft. :P

That's what I do and if people don't like my Mod garb, they don't have to look at me. :)
