Here is mine:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slug

http://digital.library.unt.edu/permalink/meta-dc-1506:1

I have them in my kitchen ..it REALLY sucks :x..somehow they have managed to come in from the outside...and some of them are gigiantic.....I regularly salt the floor....have elevated the cat dishes...put out messes of diatomaceous earth....they always come back.
I think the thing I like the least about them is their smell.

I think the kitchen is slowly sinking into the ground or something.

I heard salt kills slugs. Kinda ironic that they would be in the kitchen, where one would mostly likely store salt.

It is really gross to kill them with salt..they make this sort of hissy sizzling sound....sometimes I will hear one as it accidentally crosses one of my salt trails....i would never directly kill one...and generally the smart little bastards stay away from my salt traps.
If I had more of a stomach for killing things, I would set out a devious obstacle course of beer and salt traps....

Ants. Slugs managed to get through a small hole in the back door until it was replaced though.

KILL!

Persuade you neighbours to put down beer traps. The slugs will then migrate from your garden to their beer traps, otherwise you will be constantly collecting all the neighbourhood slugs.

I get ants in the kitchen sometimes (they get in through gaps in the window), and I have a hell of a time basically wiping them up with a cloth, then dumping them into a sink full of hot water (I make very bloodthirsty comment while doing so...).

However, I detest cockroaches. Little %&*%^*(%.....

Can I consider a baby or kid a household pest?

Flies. They're absolutely filthy. I know where they walk and hate when they're near my food.
