You need a lint roller, though not the silicon jelly ones. One of the Scotch Brite ones that are like a roll of masking tape sheets that rip off when they're no longer sticky (ie. covered in too much hair and lint)

If you have a roll of wide packing tape, cut off a strip, make a loop & wrap around your hand, sticky side out. Like a DIY lint roller.

Or, get suit jackets that match the color of your pet...

I find a lint roller is really good for removing cat hair from the carpet that my vacuum doesn't pick up.
