Do I really need to use an iron, or are there alternative solutions?

Spray both sides of the collar liberally with water.

Place the item in a dryer with a dryer sheet and one or two clean towels.

Set the dryer to its highest setting and tumble dry the item until it is completely dry and most of the wrinkles have been removed.

who gives a damn?
if someone can not hear what i am telling them due to the fact that my shirt collar is wrinkled then i will let them know that they are not the person i should be talking to.

dost thee, with thy almighty bounty of wit, be dismounted from the steed that walks you through your protracted course within my attention? dost thee lie before me and declare inferiority?
if thou dost, then thee will be befit for extinction.

although, with your injudicious determination of the wrinkledness of my collar, you have shown yourself to be an unworthy disciple of my grandeur, and therefore thou shall'st be put to death by my decree in the first light of the morrow.
