Today i meet very funny name it was "Anal Med: Laboratorium Analityczne (Analytic laboratory) if you ask me it was more suitable for proctology clinic than medical kolaboratory

i do not want want to to offend anyone but I think that when selecting a name for the company, as in giving the name of the child need to be very balanced.

There's a state park a little ways from me called Hairy John. It's not a corporation, but it makes me giggle every time I see it.

One of the worst I have ever encountered is the name of company in Thailand called "Perfidia" (I stumbled onto their website once).

The word "perfidia" is the Spanish word for "perfidy" which means "deceitfulness", or "untrustworthiness".

Can you even imagine a worse name for company?
Really makes you wanna do business with them!

Probably the Thai founder of the company just liked the sound of the name, or liked the old pop song of that title: "Perfidia" was written in Mexico in the thirties ( a song about love lost due to unfaithfulness), and quickly became a big band era hit with Spanish language, English language, and instrumental, versions, topping the WWII era charts. And the song still gets revived every ten years (the Ventures did an instrumental surf rock version in the Sixties, and Linda Rhondstadt did a traditional Mexican version in the Nineties, and there is current Latin rock version on Spanish language charts right now). A great song actually. But not a great name for a corporation.

We had word "Perfidia" in Polish language, it means in our language very mean and spiteful behavior, including betrayal
