I have made another post about this but I want to ask for some help. I didn't know where else to go to for help because nobody in my family is supporting me. I want to write an autobiographical piece on my life and living with my brother but my brother was a very angry person. He was difficult to live with but I feel a need to write about growing up with him in my life. I feel like it's therapeutic to write about him but nobody supports me in my decision. I'm an anxious wreck about it and nobody seems to understand. Could anyone please try to understand and help?

Why wouldn't anybody support you?

You can publish an ebook on Amazon and change all the names in the story and even give yourself a fake name if you like to protect yourself from your family and anyone else.

Interestingly enough, I'm writing a book with a similar purpose, only it's less an autobiography and more a collection of random thoughts. Either way, I second League_Girl. If your family is your only serious concern, fake names are the way to go.

If there's one thing I strongly suggest, it's a Google search on e-book publication services. Amazon isn't the only platform that exists for authors wanting to self-publish their works, much less suitable for everyone.
