I really didn't want to be a tufted titmouse (it is so embarrassing - I 'm rather prim); but accept that it is an inevitable stage in my evolution. I'm averaging two and a bit posts per day - can anyone advise how soon I'd advance a stage at this pace?

Or how many quizzes I'll have to complete to move on a stage?

"Last person to post wins" thread knocks up the post count pretty quick and takes v little brain power unlike some of the quiz threads

Thanks all - I didn't really expect any replies - a sad fate for a first post , but that humiliation would have been far less than the suffering I'm currently undergoing. Sorry to be so pathetic, but it really is mocking me.

I'd certainly contribute to the simpler threads (thanks CC and RB for the suggestions) but the little beggar is already calling me a cheat.

Quizzes it is then.

Michaelmas

PS have I fallen off the wall, or is this all simply an expression (a manifestation?) of my AS ness?

i'm not sure why you should feel humiliated...

you should feel welcomed to WP!

after 1k posts... you can change your title to whatever you like... until then... you're stuck with the birdie theme

Profuse apologies to all.

Anxiety plays some awful tricks at times - I thought I was in the "off the wall" forum. You have been very sincere - and tolerant.

Cheers All.

Yellow-bellied woodpecker would suit me fine.
