I know the romance of it: this is a beautiful planed of life and all that.

Actualy it is an orb of savage death. Animals eat each other even whilst the food still breathes. There are volcanos, ice sheets, tsunamis, earthquakes, land subsidences, mud flows, pyroclastic flows, floods, droughts, diseases, pestllance, blights, cyclonic storms, blizzards. . .

All of us will die. If we don't get bit by poison bugs or starve to death, old age awaits us all. The Earth will watch each of us die with as much love and sympathy as if we are bugs underfoot. It will extinct mankind as ruthlessly as it did the dinos.

What we must do:

1. Develop machine replacements for our bodies.

2. Learn to go FTL

3. And do those well and cheap so we can get our butts off this forsaken dirt ball.

That is what we must do if we are to have a future!

Is this Earth Day or something?

Earth is amazing. It's the humans on it that ruin it.

The earth won`t kill us, we kill ourself by ruining the earth.

hopefully I'll die before the earth does

well god knows how i feel about dying. i hope he picks me up in his spaceship soon and where i'll never have to face death. oh the earth is ok. just ok, there are some bad parts. like yuma arizona that place is terrible
