Ex: After attending a party I cannot remember the homeowner's name, but I can recall a minute detail from the painting that was hanging in the corner of the bathroom.

Any of ye have similar experiences?

Yes. I can talk to someone for an hour at work or at an event, but have no idea what their name is or what they look like the very second I walk away. I can remember that their son was born on March 21 and that he wants to be an engineer. I can remember their shoes. Even if I repeat their name and imagine the letters of their name forming a shape related to their name, I can't remember it.
