Encounter: moment of stupidity #35673

I really hate people.
I was having trouble ordering a product online, for some reason I got a bizarre error message that disallowed me to get to the finalization of the order so I called, waited on hold for a bit and explained what had happened
Well, I will be happy to assist you with that" the rep said... Can I get the order number and Debit/Credit account info so I can process your order?
Then I said..whoa, whoa hold on a second. What about the order error message I'm receiving? The rep said, don't worry about it, I will process your order for you so we can send the item right away free shipping blah blah blah, and I said. That's not why I called. I called so we could troubleshoot the error message I am getting on your website. (I can't say the name for legal reasons but it rhymes with youVC)Then again she said I will be happy to assist you with processing your order. WTF? then I started to get mad..and almost used obscenities but I controlled myself. I said: What if in the future when I order something that error is still there?
Well, let's process this order first then I can send you to the troubleshoot department she said. I was like NO! wait WHAT? You have a troubleshoot department and didn't transfer me to it from the get go? So we wasted 45 minutes for nothing??So I asked for a supervisor. I didn't complain about her, I just wanted whatever it was to be fixed. In the end, the manager fixed the error. I hate people, stupid people!

Sounds like every interaction with Rogers(telecommunications giant) ever. Every interaction with that stupid company is maddening.
