I'm keeping stuff in a box, my cat peed in my box, do I have to get rid of my things from my box? Did this happen to you?

That sucks! I don't think you necessarily need to get rid of everything, just wash it off good, so it won't stink. Funny story, one time my little sister peed on some of my stuff when she was sleeping, and I had to wash everything when I found out.

I don't think I can wash it, cuz in my box were tour books, a cd, other things from my collection of my fave singer.

Oh god, you're triggering some pretty awful PTSD flashbacks from when I had a cat~ *-*

Personally I would just throw it all out to be honest.

If the stuff is really yucky, it probably can't be saved. I had one cat who peed on things, and they became all sticky and gross. Once, my dog peed on my travel bag.

You can generally wash things if they're washable, just use a non-ammonia based cleaner/detergent. Emzymatic laundry detergent such as Bio Zet might work, or try bi-carb and vinegar.

I could write a book about pet pee-pee stories, because I've so many animals in my life.

The actual CD should be fine if it was in a case but I would wash the case or replace it.

I guess I have to throw my tourbooks & pictures away. I been collecting them for over 20 years.

Has anybody read the book of cat poems called, "I Could Pee on This?" I laughed out loud because I have had nearly 40 years of experience with the subject.
