I'm engaged so yes I do celebrate valentine's day. Do you, or if you're not in a relationship, would you celebrate valentine's?

My wife doesn't let me observe Valentine's Day. She says I shouldn't dare treat her better on one day than on any other day. So, I surprise her with flowers throughout the year, which she likes very much.

I got a box of chocolates from my dad, which was a nice surprise.
My valentines are all fictional characters and celebrities
I sent a couple e-valentines to some of my friends too :)

I'm in a long term relationship. We exchanged basic gifts. It wasn't very special. He just does it because he feels obligated, which isn't romantic at all. I told him don't get me anything, but here I am with red roses that I honestly don't care for, and chocolates, which I'll eat any day of the year because yum. If you're going to do it, make it special. I appreciate it for what it is, but still, it was not personal at all.

I bought myself a couple of apple strudels at Save on Foods for Valentine's Day. They were really good.

I don't do Valentine's Day for two reasons:
1) I feel that the people I love deserve to know about it more than once a year. And in more sincere, long-lasting ways than candy and flowers.
2) Feb.14th just happens to be the anniversary of the day I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. It changed my life in such a positive way that I now celebrate that every year.

I don't have anybody, I'm very happy without a man. My cat is my Valentine.
