Wouldn't you just love to be able to talk endlessly about your obsession with another person just as interested? I sure would! :lol: Post your obsession; then reply to any you share.

I'll start: Anyone else get obsessed with individual military units?

I'm currently on the United States Army 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team from WWII (in particular, Company C...)

Mine are:

History
WWI and II
Cold War
18th/19th century Britain
Russian/Soviet history
and my history obsessions from when I was younger, which I'm still interested in now but not as much as I was then: Plague/Fire 1665/6, Titanic, Romans (particularly Pompeii) and Tudors (mainly Henry VIII)
I'm interested in anything history-related though. :)

Cats
I have a cat called Flo. I like talking about her, other people's cats, and cats in general.
I like other animals too and I like watching documentaries about tigers and lions.

Music
Mostly indistrial and metal.
I listen to Rammstein more than any other band I like but I also like others.

I like talking about any of those, but mainly history if anyone wants to.

I love history, particularly American, or anywhere before 1750 or so. There should be a history interest forum here. ;)

Haha there should be. :) I do history at university, it's great. We have some American units on our course, but mine mainly focus on British/European history. I did do an essay a few months ago on Andrew Jackson and the Removal Act though, which was interesting.
