A bit more context might be better, but odds are this is what he is in effect saying. An axe murderer is someone who is completely mad, so by extension "turning the nicest person into an axe murderer" is driving someone who is very tolerant to go insane. Now, since that's all we get in terms of information we are left guessing as to the reason for that, and the two reasons he would say that is that either he sees you as purposely malicious or just vexxing. You do not seem to have malicious intentions, thus the latter is probably the answer.
All in all though, he is a butt for saying that.

He's either saying that you don't see any good in people or that you piss people off enough to have them want to hurt you.
