I have often seen people on WP complain that there's no "like" button.

What is this emoji then? :thumleft:

Isn't that saying you like or approve of something?

Or you can approve of something with a wink. :thumright:

Maybe that's approving of something naughty? :P

And dislike could be  or :shameonyou: or :skull:

There.

Sorted.

There, I left an ambidextrous "like."

Like button is so you can quickly browse posts and like stuff so you don't have to comment to show you acknowledge the post on some stuff. Basically it's a lazy tool.

It's one of the many things missing from a forum that operates on a 1998 format.

I been on some forums that had them & it caused controversy because people were worried about why their post wasn't getting enough likes or why they were getting less than a post they didn't think was as good. It led to some arguments.

I like the idea of the like button, :thumleft: because sometimes( as was said previously) I just want to acknowledge that I agree or whatever with a post but I can't work out what to say. :D

The site glitched and reposted Polly's post? :?

Also, was your username inspired by polly pocket?

We have plenty of emoticons to show what we think of something. I also use other emoticons from emoticon sites and images that I make as well to show what I think of things.
