has anyone else come across these monstrosities, in person or otherwise?

of course, i could not believe it when i first saw them in the mall's disney store...which was likely a good thing, as i needed the laugh. this HAS to have been an error in digitization.

dunno, it LOOKS like gary busey to me, i hope i'm not alone there. :skull: just not emma watson.

in general, realistic (or attempted realistic) human faces mounted on dolls don't rally do it for me. even if it were to be done, the head does seem to be just a bit too large. the forehead especially.

what do you think?

Wow, I didn't see it at first, but after looking at it for a while it kinda does if you change the eye color. I wonder what their process is for creating the master copy, because it looks like just a rough estimate of Emma's face mounted on a doll head base improperly scaled.

I don't even know who Gary Busey is. All I know is that all the dolls based on the live-action versions of Disney characters are weird and ugly, I'll take the cartoon versions any day, any time, and I can't understand why Disney keeps making live-action versions of some of their best animated movies because the live ones are

Me & my girlfriend both started laughing when we saw it cuz it definitely looks like a man's face but I'm not sure about Gary's

yeah, the scaling i think is the biggest issue. it could have worked okay, i think, if it were sized more proportionally but this is a lost cause here. i get the impression that they used a regular doll head "base" and just printed emma's face on it. the forehead is especially colossal (seemingly), a simple reduction there can go far.

i liked the recent jungle book adaptation, i saw it with my GF and we enjoyed it. i have the original animated version on VHS in spanish, but i do not recall watching it in full, ever.

gary busey is an actor with a....unique smile.

Had to refresh my own memory as to who "Gary Busey" is.

He is this scary looking guy we have all seen as a great character actor in supporting roles in countless movies:

Maybe the doll doesnt quite "look like Gary Busey". But she looks about as scary (and about as a feminine and pretty) as Gary Busey!

Lol!
