I made a bird box and put it in a tree and I planted some onions at my mum's house.

Picked up my cat from her hotel / weekend vacation.

Shredded some paper, packed a little more.

And I got Catchy Song stuck in my sister's head.

Got rid of the last thing I'll ever buy that man.

did yardwork. shoveled piecemeal, about 2 wheelbarrow-fulls of gravel t[he street repair people dumped on my front lawn after patching a water main pipe] and filled in some low spots. took some of the soil they got from the pipe hole, and used it to fill a mudpuddle in front of the house. mowed the lawn. cleaned the clay-infused mud off my shoes. got very dirty. :eew:

Persuaded my stepdad onto the same phone package as us.

Which means none of my texts will be used up :) Still costs £5 a month but still it's great :)

Done some work in the garden with Mrs Trueno. I'm not a natural gardener but it's looking good.

I like the anonymity on here too much for details but my regular publisher is going to publish my poem :)

It's been a while since I got published so it's nice to know I've still 'got it'. :)

That's excellent! Congratulations!

I sense that you've done some "slam poetry."

That's something I can never do.

No, it's (slightly experimental) free verse.

I wish I could do slam poetry. It's the performance aspect I'd struggle with and I get the sense that's a big deal in slam poetry.

I did a while back (so I'm drifting off topic, sorry) lean how to read poetry out loud but that's more 'reading' than 'slam'.

Yep....Slam Poetry has a strong performance aspect.

If you can do "regular" reading, that's good, too.

I have trouble even with that.

All right...on topic LOL

I was able to open the library on time, despite the fact that I had forgotten the library key at home originally. And it only cost me an extra $20 (for the garage, since I had to drive in, rather than take the subway).
