I walked to a local grocery store that's about 20 minute walk away so I could get bread. I also washed dishes today, they had kinda piled up. & I also called my parents.

I had a great tennis lesson today. My serve was good and I had a good rallying session with my instructor. I am really having a lot of fun playing tennis.

I pissed off a woman while walking today.
She thought I was trying to take her man, but he was following me on his own without my approval.
And, no advance from me.
No big deal. She did threaten me though.
Called me a hoe.

Crazies live down near me.

So, I didn't get assaulted.

Letting myself be sad because today is 17 years since the passing of my father who passed on June 2nd, 2002.

Had he managed to get through his treatments without any problems, he would have turned 60 back on May 6th.

Sorry to hear that... he passed at a young age.
My dad just about made it to 71 and that was 23 years ago... he'd be in his 90s now. At least I tell myself he would have hated being an old guy.

When a pair of bullies found out a few days after the fact, they saw his passing as a just reason to pick on me even more. In fact, two teachers decided to join in the making of my middle school experience more difficult, so in turn, I was compelled to keep my dad's passing a secret until my senior year of high school.

When a popular girl who I had a huge crush on (this was when I was still in middle school) found out around the same time the bullies did, she broke ranks (and character) with a clique she was in and helped me cope. This of course pissed off the other girls in her clique, but she defended her actions by accusing the other girls of being selfish, naïve, and anything of the sort.

As for your father hating being an old guy, my dad was losing his hair, so I often imagine my dad hating being a bald guy.
