Not sure how to best describe, but when I was younger, I remember there were these random moments where it would feel as though my mind would go into this trance-like state sort of like I'd be physically awake, but my mind would slow down in processing anything to the point where it felt as if it were trudging through quicksand and remain in that state for about a minute before coming back to full awareness. The closest thing to describe it would be petit mal seizures, only I can still recollect these episodes and can still talk through them (although either I won't be fully aware of what I'm saying, or I'll say something incorrect, know it's incorrect and keep repeating it in an attempt to grasp what it is I'm trying to say at a point where things aren't registering as they should). Anyone know the feeling?

Yes, do know that kind of thing. Even had manager of F. W. Woolworth store I worked at in 1990s bring up that sort of trance out for a minute thing in an annual review.
