It is not illegal to litter in France. If I would have known that when I was there, I wouldn't have carried any garbage in my hand while I was in Paris. I would have just dropped it on the sidewalk for someone to pick up at night. They do have people working at night picking up garbage in the streets and sidewalks. But yet they don't like the British because they go down there and dump their trash on the side of the roads and leave. Well if they don't like that, they can outlaw the littering.

I would litter just for the thrill of it, since I think it is illegal where I live at.

I saw the Native American cry....I will not litter any where because I hate looking at it(except, maybe some rusty bits, they look kind of cool, but I wouldnt want someone to step on it and get lock jaw and die, unless it was GW Bush or Channey, maybe Carl Rove.....then I would want to see them stripped naked rolling in the rusty litter bits ala Iggy Pop.)

i lived, so far, in two countries where it is not illegal and never did it. though, i know and see a lot of people who don't care. i find most people to be too careless and irresponsible.

Where's the thrill if it's legal?

No, because it's disrespectful. I have drunk in the street before today though.

I don't litter. I recycle. I walked with the garbage from my take-out dinner three or four miles back to my house.

Why would someone want to do that? Paris is nice.
