Recently I was at one of my associate apartment.

My associate herself might be autistic herself but like many women she's on the personality disorder spectrum.

More to point when I was sitting with her in the apartment she started talking to one of her friends on her mobile phone. As she was speaking she said "yeah i am with my friend right now he's autistic"

Do you think that was rude of her or not? She was sitting on the sofa right next to me when she said it too.

Well if there was no specific reason why she said that then there was no need for her to point that out. It's a bit like being diabetic and a friend of yours tells someone on the phone "I'm with my friend, he's diabetic". It'd be OK if it needed to be said for a reason like the person on the phone was coming with a non-diabetis-friendly snack, but to just be said as unnecessary additional information, then it can be a little rude if you're sitting right there. Just because we're autistic doesn't mean we want our label to be announced out every 5 minutes.
