Well if there was no specific reason why she said that then there was no need for her to point that out. It's a bit like being diabetic and a friend of yours tells someone on the phone "I'm with my friend, he's diabetic". It'd be OK if it needed to be said for a reason like the person on the phone was coming with a non-diabetis-friendly snack, but to just be said as unnecessary additional information, then it can be a little rude if you're sitting right there. Just because we're autistic doesn't mean we want our label to be announced out every 5 minutes.
