Do people here have two pair of glasses? I'm wondering if it is good idea, what if one breaks or got lost. What do you use to clean your glasses?

I have my old two pairs of glasses although they have different values they still more or less work. But their frames are horribly damaged so I wouldn't wanna wear them if not necessary. I have also lenses but they don't make me see sharp enough and irritate my eyes a lot.

A microfiber towel and regular tap water should do the job to clean them though I sometimes use lcd cleaner too.

I have several pairs of glasses. One I got the other week, the ones I'm wearing right now when I'm dressed in the house or just going out in the neighbourhood and some other ones I wear after a shower or when I'm not dressed in the house. I also have a pair of sunglasses. I'm very particular :)

I have two pair of bifocals -- one for closeup and one for driving-- rather than having trifocals, but yes, I have backups for each of those since I am close to being legally blind without corrective lenses. Soft cloth (such as the tail of my T-shirt or sometimes a little toilet paper) and a little breath for moisture are what I use for cleaning them, but I have glass lenses and do not have to be concerned about scratching.

I only have one pair but I only wore em for school, work & going to the movies. They only help my distance vision a little bit & I see worse up close with em. I would have to do stuff up close anyways cuz my distance vision with em is pretty bad so it's easier for me not to wear em & do things closer.

I have two but one is spares for just that scenario. I don't wear them much because they tend to slip off.
I need new ones. I clean them with those silky cloths and the cleaning spray they give you at the optometrist.

I have ten pairs. The first three were from 2013 (one pair was from 2009, but I got new lenses put in them) and I got the rest this year. Five pairs were under $30 each, which is why I have so many.

I use the cloths you get with them to keep them clean. If they get hard to clean, I use lens cleaning spray or wipes. Anti-reflective coating is very hard to keep clean and it's annoying. When I got the glasses that had that in 2013, I was even looking for ways to remove it. I read that the best way to clean them is with baby shampoo and water and then drying them on something soft like clothes made with cotton. It was good, but it can take too long to do.
