Do you still celebrate your birthday?

I stopped after I was 9 because I decided there's nothing special about it.

I remember celebrating it only once in my life when I turned 9.

Sort of, although when does it stop being socially acceptable to celebrate your birthday? I'm always worried that I'm "too old" for that in the eyes of other people.

They say you're never too old to celebrate it.

Yes, I do. I didn't like it for a while because I felt I was getting older without having achieved anything. Now, it's different. I do enjoy time spent with family and friends on that special day.

I still celebrate it, and everyone in my family celebrates theirs, too. You're never too old.

Mine was this week. Sometimes I feel sad for getting older, but then I realise it's only one day older than I was the day before. I see getting a new number as my age as being sort of like when it's a new year and everything is like a nice fresh start.

No, I will turn 47 in August, I'm getting so old, I feel like I was robbed in life, everyone gotten older & mature, but I stayed the same I got the hair for my old age, I have alot of white hair , I don't know if I want to color it again.

My family still celebrate birthdays, my grandmother celebrated her 88 birthday.

I never really been into it or celebrating special days but my parents were into it some. I did like getting presents & cake. They quit celebrating it as much after I was out of high-school but I still always got a cake till I moved across the country to be with my girlfriend but Cass usually makes me a cake.

I celebrate mine but I usually get money to shop with and we go out and get sushi.

why celebrate a year closer to death. i removed my birth date from my profile because i hate to look at it.
