Hello
I´m new to the forum and diagnosed with Asperger since february. I also have narcolepsy. I live in germany, but have to go to pittsburgh in ten day`s where i have never been bevore. It was difficult to imagine to come over such a long/far distance. I needet 7 Years to imagine that....
In preparing my trip i have questions wich may sound stupid, but the answeres are important for me.
Do in pittsburgh/pensylvania exist dangerous storms ( we normally don`t have them) Tornado`s? I`m there from 3. of june to 12. of june. Is it true that you have everywhere in the rooms aircondition-systems? So that is a different if you are outside it can be very hot, but inside " cool" because of a god working aircondition?
I have to exhibit my invention at the inventionshow in Monroeville
http://www.inventionshow.com/
this is also my special interest.

I also look for a kind of Informationmaterial which i can carrie with me about Asperger ( in english of course) or does enybody knows such thing like an international sign/pictogramm which i could stick on my cloth? A link where ic could find infomrations, or text about it could help.
Also experiences which you made in planes with the crew...
You can also ask me questions
thank you very much for your help

Generally speaking Pennsylvania is not prone to tornados. You are coming after the more rainy season, but that can just depend. Almost every building here it seems has air conditioning, public ones anyway. I have been to Germany and other places in Europe and always found it weird that so many places do not. They will give you ice in your drink, unless you say otherwise. The water will not be fizzy, unless you ask for seltzer water.

I am a couple of hours from Pittsburgh in Northern Virginia and the weather is a pleasant 80F and clear lately. Rain has been coming in about once a week, but not for days on end for awhile now.

Flying across the Atlantic is fun, but exhausting. Try to get an aisle seat. If you are flying Lufthansa, they are usually really nice.

Pennsylvania is nice this time of year. No tornadoes, just maybe some rain, and lots of humidity.
