How do you live a semi-luddite lifestyle?

How do you live a semi-luddite lifestyle today? I'm not talking about destroying machines and that horrible stuff. But I'd love to learn how people did things before the Internet was around. I think it would be more fun. I don't really want to give up the Internet though.

Easy to do, everyone up until recently survived ok with books and valves for diodes and steam engines or horses. I don't know where you live, but why don't you go camping for a weekend? You don't have to chuck out your phone/pc/tv whatever but you can enjoy a few tech free days.

You don't need to give up tech altogether. Just take a break and rest your eyes.

Yeah, but it seems like one extreme or the other. There is no "in between" when it comes to primitiveness.
